HOT HOT HOT!!!
Hopefully you are prepared for it and hopefully you have your landscape prepared for it as well. We have had an especially dry winter and we are already seeing drought stressed trees even before the hottest part of the summer. If you have any trees or plants that you are seeing stressed you need to act on it immediately. When plants start showing stress they need to be treated immediately to keep them from becoming strained. Once a plant becomes strained it almost always leads to an early and unfortunate death.
Don’t worry, we can help you make sure your landscape is ready for the August heat.
This is also the time to start planning and preparing your landscapes for fall planting. The fall is a great time to put in new trees and shrubs and summer is a great time to design and pick species. We work very close with Plant Oregon the nursery on Wagner Creek to hand select strong species focusing on right plant right place.
